Phil Osophy
Phil Osophy
Though his love for hip-hop and music started in early '93, it wasn't until 2000 when Phil began seriously considering picking up the mic. After some concepts and throwaway songs Phil began producing his own material and gradually drifted from emceeing to just straight production. He's been a heavyweight producer ever since for the fledgling ILLogical Records dropping bomb after bomb for his partner-in-grime G-Zus Kriced. His style is influenced heavily 90's boom bap pioneers like DJ Premier, RZA and Da Beatminerz, among many others. Phil's mission is to bring back that raw boom bap sound that exemplified dope beats and dope rhymes over name-brand recognition and movie tie-ins.
